Under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to restructure the Department of Children, Seniors and Social Development, effective April 8, 2021, to consist of all those functions formerly within the Department of Children, Seniors and Social Development and the income support functions formerly within the Department of Immigration, Skills and Labour, with three branches as follows:

a) Child and Youth Services,

b) Corporate Services and Performance Inprovement, and,

c) Policy and Program
