Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Philip Osborne as Assistant Deputy Minister, Legal Services, in the Department of Justice and Public Safety, on an acting basis, effective April 28, 2021, with a salary at Step 33 on the 1660 Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, with benefits to include payment of annual practice fees in the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
