Under the authority of subsection 37(4) of the Mineral Act and in accordance with

section 22 of the Public Service Commission Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council

is pleased to authorize the Minister of Industry, Energy and Technology to appoint:

1) Liam O’Brien as temporary Chairperson of the Mineral Rights Adjudication Board

to hear the grievance filed related to rights of the mineral barite contained within

mineral licences 21890M and 21891M and the grievance filed related to the

issuance of mineral licence 031315M, for a period not exceeding six months; and

2) George Jenner as temporary member of the Mineral Rights Adjudication Board to

hear the grievance filed related to rights of the mineral barite contained within

mineral licences 21890M and 21891M, for a period not exceeding six months.
