Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of subsection 7(1) of the Rooms Act and in accordance with

section 4 of the Independent Appointments Commission Act, the Lieutenant-

Governor in Council is pleased to appoint the following individuals to The Rooms

Corporation Board of Directors, for three-year terms, effective from a current date:

1) Rowena House (Torbay);

2) Rick Mercer (Toronto/Harbour Main);

3) Tauna Staniland (St. John’s); and,

4) Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation.
