Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of

the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Chantelle

MacDonald Newhook, Q.C. as Assistant Deputy Minister, Enforcement and

Resource Services, in the Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture, effective

April 28, 2021, at her current salary and point scale on the Executive Compensation

Plan, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to

Executive to apply, with benefits to include payment of annual practice fees in the

Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
