Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of subsection 20(1) of the Public Procurement Regulations, the

Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to allow a regional health authority to use

existing procurement contracts and agreements in the other Atlantic Provinces, to

procure a specified good and/or service where such procurement:

a) is for high-priced, specialized medical equipment where the successful vendor

is to make the specified good and/or service available to any provincially funded

public sector entity in the Atlantic Provinces at the same price as determined

through an open call procurement process; and

b) would have no impact on local suppliers.
