Under the authority of section 22 of the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation

Act and in accordance with section 4 of the Independent Appointments Commission

Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to:

a) appoint Janet O’Reilly as a full-time Review Commissioner to the Workplace

Health, Safety and Compensation Review Division, for a five-year term, effective

from a current date, in accordance with a contract of employment subject to final

review and approval by the Clerk of the Executive Council; and

b) set remuneration at $90,000 per annum, with a position description to be

forwarded to the Treasury Board Secretariat for classification within one year of

the date of appointment, the outcome of which is to place the candidate at the

salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary at which she has

been appointed herein, and with any salary increase on the basis of the

classification process to be effective as of the date of appointment, and with

normal step progression and general salary increases to apply.
