Under the authority of section 5 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to restructure the Department of Children, Seniors and Social Development, effective August 17, 2021, to consist of all those functions formerly within the Department of Children, Seniors and Social Development, with four branches as follows: 

a) Child and Youth Services; 

b) Corporate Services and Performance Improvement; 

c) Policy and Programs; and, 

d) Prevention and Early Intervention.
