Under the authority of paragraph 3(o) and sections 4 and 56 of the Expropriation Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure to: (a) expropriate Vardy’s Island at Channel Port aux Basques, and (b) convey Vardy’s Island to Marine Atlantic Inc., for the purpose of its removal on terms and conditions acceptable to the Minister.
