Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Karen Stone Q.C. as Deputy Minister of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation, effective December 9, 2021, at her current salary and Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, and with benefits to include payment of practice fees in the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
