Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of

the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Scott Linehan

as Assistant Deputy Minister (K-12 and Early Childhood Education) of the

Department of Education, effective December 6, 2021, with salary at Step 10 on the

1628 Point Scale on the Executive Compensation Plan, with normal step progressions

and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, and with a salary

differential to apply of 1% above the salary of the highest paid subordinate until such

time as, through normal step progressions, general salary increases, or otherwise, Mr.

Linehan’s salary is greater than the salary of the highest paid subordinate.
