Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of section 19 of the Financial Administration Act and sections 9 and 11 of the Economic Diversification and Growth Enterprises Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to make an Order to amend the EDGE Remission Order authorized by OC 96-364, to add the following EDGE approved companies to the Schedule to the Order with respect to remittance of taxes payable under various taxation statutes:

i) International Communications and Navigation Limited (ICAN), Mount Pearl, for its FINS Module and AIS Module with benefits to commence April 30, 2001;

ii) Rutter Technologies Inc., St. John’s, with benefits to commence December 31, 2001;

iii) Hospitality Marketing Concepts, Gander, with benefits to commence January 1, 2001;

iv) Hygenitek Inc., Trepassey, with benefits to commence January 31, 2002;

v) CAN-AM Stageline Inc., Shearstown, with benefits to commence January 31, 2002; and,

vi) Gander Aerospace Manufacturing Inc., Gander, with benefits to commence June 4, 2002.
