Under the authority of section 4 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, His Honour the Lieutenant Governor, by Commission under the Great Seal of the Province, is pleased to appoint Gerry Reid to the Executive Council of the Province as the Minister of Education, with effect from February 17, 2003.
