Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Sterling Peyton  as Deputy Minister of Labrador and Aboriginal Affairs, effective March 3, 2003, in accordance with the terms and conditions of a contract on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council.
