Under the authority of section 12 of the Forestry Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Forest Resources and Agrifoods to acquire the cutting rights for all hardwood, immature softwood and management rights in District 14 (Stephenville/Bay St. George Area) as outlined in the “Timber Transfer Agreement” to be executed between the Minister of Forest Resources and Agrifoods and Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Ltd., a copy of which is on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council.
