Under the authority of the Loan and Guarantee Act, 1957, the Lieutenant Governor in Council hereby authorizes the Minister of Finance to provide a loan guarantee on behalf of the Newfoundland and Labrador Education Investment Corporation to secure the principal and interest on both interim and long term financing of up to an additional $30 million for a total amount not to exceed $105 million, plus capitalized interest thereon, for the purpose of funding school construction projects, on terms and conditions acceptable to the Minister of Finance.
