Under the authority of section 12 of the Forestry Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is

pleased to authorize the Minister of Forest Resources and Agrifoods to enter into the

“Timber Transfer Agreement”, a copy of which is on file with the Clerk of the Executive

Council, with Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Ltd. to accept the timber cutting rights for

hardwoods and immature softwoods from Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Ltd. for parcels of

forests in the Port Saunders and Hawke’s Bay area in Forest Management District 17.
