Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of

the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Gerrie Smith

Assistant Deputy Minister, Public Safety and Correctional Services, in the

Department of Justice and Public Safety, effective March 21,2022, with salary at Step

25 on the 1936 point scale of the Executive Compensation Plan, with normal step

progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply.
