Mineral Act and Public Service Commission Act
Under the authority of subsection 37(4) of the Mineral Act and paragraph 21(2)(a) of
the Public Service Commission Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to
authorize the Minister of Industry, Energy and Technology to reappoint the following
persons to the Mineral Rights Adjudication Board, for a period not exceeding six
months, effective from a current date:
a) Liam O’Brien, as temporary Chairperson to continue to hear the grievance filed
related to rights of the mineral barite contained within mineral licences 21890M
and 21891M and the grievance filed related to the issuance of mineral licence
31315M; and
b) George Jenner, as temporary Member to continue to hear the grievance filed
related to rights of the mineral barite contained within mineral licences 21890M
and21891M.
