Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of section 59.1 of the Schools Act, 1997, the Lieutenant-Governor

in Council hereby appoints the following Trustees to the Interim Board of

Newfoundland and Labrador English School District to oversee the operation and

integration of Newfoundland and Labrador English School District under the

Department of Education, effective November 29, 2021:

a) Goronwy Price, as Chairperson;

b) Steve Tessier;

c) John George;

d) Jean Butt;

e) Greg O’Leary, Deputy Minister of Education; and

f) Michelle Jewer, Deputy Minister of Finance.
