Mineral Act and Public Service Commission Act
Under the authority of subsection 37(4) of the Mineral Act and paragraph 21(2)(a) of
the Public Service Commission Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to
authorize the Minister of Industry, Energy and Technology to reappoint the following
persons to the Mineral Rights Adjudication Board, for a period not to exceed six months,
effective from a current date:
a) Liam O’Brien as temporary Chairperson to continue chairing the grievance filed
related to rights of the mineral barite contained within mineral licences 21890M
and 21891M;and
b) George Jenner as temporary Member to continue to hear the grievance filed
related to rights of the mineral barite contained within mineral licences 21890M
and 21891M.
