Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of section 59.1 of the Schools Act, 1997, the Lieutenant-

Governor in Council is pleased to appoint the following senior government

officials, by virtue of their positions, to the Newfoundland and Labrador English

School District Board of Trustees to oversee the operation and integration of the

Newfoundland and Labrador English School District under the Department of

Education, effective June 30, 2022:

a) Deputy Minister of Education, Chairperson;

b) Deputy Minister of Finance;

c) Deputy Minister of Justice and Public Safety;

d) Deputy Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure;

e) Secretary to Treasury Board; and,

f) Chief Information Officer.
