Under the authority of section 48 of the Memorial University Act and in accordance

with paragraph 9(2)(b) of the Independent Appointments Commission Act, the

Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Earl Ludlow as Chancellor of

Memorial University of Newfoundland, for a five-year term, effective immediately.
