Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the

Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Jason Higgins as

Assistant Deputy Minister, Industry and Economic Development, Department of

Industry, Energy and Technology, effective September 20, 2022, with salary at Step 1

of the 1500 Point Scale on the Executive Compensation Plan, with normal step

progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, and with a

salary differential to apply of 1% above the salary of the highest paid subordinate until

such time as, through normal step progressions, general salary increases, or otherwise,

Mr. Higgins’ salary is greater than the salary of the highest paid subordinate. (Revoked by OC2024-009)
