Under the authority of subsection 28(2) of the Financial Administration Act, on the

report of the Minister of Finance that there is insufficient legislative provision,

available countervailing savings, and the necessity is urgent, and on the

recommendation in writing of Treasury Board, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is

pleased to authorize the preparation of a Special Warrant for the signature of Her

Honour the Lieutenant Governor, in the amount of $20,000,000, within the vote of

the Department of Finance, to provide additional funding to defray expenses of the

Cost of Living Relief Program for the fiscal year 2022-2023 allocated as follows:

Subdivision 1.3.01 Cost of Living Rebate $20,000,000.
