Financial Administration Act
Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the
Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Industry,
Energy and Technology to pre-commit the following amounts against its budgetary
appropriations for 2023-24 to enable the Province to host the 2023 Southeastern
United States-Canadian Provinces Alliance Conference:
a) up to $188,915 to facilitate a contract with the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland; and
b) up to $20,900 to facilitate a contract with the DoubleTree by Hilton St. John’s
Harbourview.
