Financial Administration Act
Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the
Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of
Transportation and Infrastructure to pre-commit the amount of $1,641,270.44 against
its budgetary appropriations in 2023-24 and the amount of $400,000 against its
budgetary appropriations in 2024-25, excluding HST, to facilitate the award of a
contract to Can-Am Platforms & Construction Ltd. to refurbish the three main
elevators at the Confederation Building - East Block in St. John’s.
