Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the

Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of

Transportation and Infrastructure to pre-commit the following amounts against its

budgetary appropriations to support the redevelopment of the former Brinton

Memorial Elementary in St. John’s into a new film school for the College of the North

Atlantic:

a) $894,000 in 2023-24 (excluding HST) to facilitate the award of a contract to The

Window Shop Inc. and Coastal Building Products & Services Ltd.; and

b) $511,551 in 2023-24 (excluding HST) to facilitate the award of a contract to

Elektra Services Inc.
