Under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act and the

Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to

restructure the Department of Health and Community Services, effective April 1,

2023, to exclude all of those functions formerly assigned to Medical Transportation

Assistance Programs, with five branches as follows:

a) Corporate Services,

b) Population Health and Wellness,

c) Programs,

d) Regional Services, and

e) Office of Health Professional Recruitment and Retention.
