Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of sections 29 and 30 of the Prisons Act and section 7 of the

Intergovernmental Affairs Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to

authorize the Minister of Justice and Public Safety and the Minister for

Intergovernmental Affairs, or their designates, to enter into:

a) the Corrections Exchange of Service Agreement, substantially along the lines as on

file with the Clerk of the Executive Council; and

b) any renewals, extensions, amendments or successor agreements related to the

Corrections Exchange of Service Agreement, without further reference to Cabinet,

provided there are no substantive policy or financial implications for the Province.
