Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of

the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint John McGrath

as Deputy Minister of Health and Community Services, effective immediately, with

salary at Step 19 on the 2448 Point Scale on the Executive Compensation Plan, with

normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to

apply, and with a salary differential to apply of 1% above the highest paid subordinate

until such time as, through normal step progressions, general salary increases, or

otherwise, Mr. McGrath’s salary is greater than the salary of the highest paid

subordinate.
