Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of

the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Lisa Stead as

the Director of Public Prosecutions, in the Department of Justice and Public Safety,

effective immediately, with salary at Step 25 on the 2056 Point Scale, with normal

step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, and

with benefits to include payment of annual practice fees in the Law Society of

Newfoundland and Labrador.
