Under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act and the

Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to

restructure the Department of Education, effective immediately, to consist of all of

those functions formerly within the Department of Education and all of those

functions formerly within the Newfoundland and Labrador English School District,

with six branches as follows:

a) Corporate Services,

b) Early Learning,

c) Education Transformation,

d) K-12 Education,

e) Post-Secondary Education, and

f) Education Operations.
