Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of section 6 of the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation

Act, 2022 and in accordance with section 4 and paragraph 9(2)(a) of the Independent

Appointments Commission Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to

appoint and reappoint the following individuals to the WorkplaceNL Board of

Directors, for a three-year term, effective from a current date:

Reappointments

a) John Peddle, as Chairperson;

b) Greg Viscount, as Employer Representative, as recommended by the

Newfoundland and Labrador Employers’ Council Inc.;

Appointments

c) James Farrell, as Worker Representative, as recommended by the

Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Labour;

d) Patsy Coish-Snow and Wayne Pardy, as Employer Representatives; and

e) David Shawn Hammond, as Worker Representative.
