Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of

the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Jason Higgins

as Deputy Minister of Labrador Affairs and Deputy Minister of Indigenous Affairs

and Reconciliation, Office of the Executive Council, effective January 17,2024, with

salary at Step 2 of the 1988 Point Scale on the Executive Compensation Plan, with

normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to

apply.
