Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the

Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased for the Department of Transportation and

Infrastructure to pre-commit funds, excluding HST and incorporating annual

increases of three per cent, against its budgetary appropriations for fiscal years 2024-

25 and 2025-26, respectively, as follows:

a) $1,992,535.00 and $2,052,311.05 to award a contract for provision of the

Francois - Grey River - Burgeo Ferry Service by Puddister Trading Company

Limited, including an option to renew for up to two additional, one-year periods

under the same terms and conditions;

b) $1,992,535.00 and $2,052,311.05 to award a contract for provision of the South

East Bight - Petite Forte Ferry Service by Puddister Shipping Limited, including

an option to renew for up to two additional, one-year periods under the same

terms and conditions;

c) $1,992,535.00 and $2,052,311.05 to award a contract for provision of the La

Poile - Rose Blanche Ferry Service by Puddister Shipping Limited, including

option to renew for up to two additional, one-year periods under the same terms

and conditions;

d) $1,992,535.00 and $2,052,311.05 to award a contract for provision of the

Rencontre East - Bay L’Argent - Pool’s Cove Ferry Service by Puddister

Shipping Limited, including an option to renew for up to two additional, one-year

periods under the same terms and conditions; and

e) $1,992,535.00 and $2,052,311.05 to award a contract for provision of the

Gaultois - McCallum - Hermitage Ferry Service by Puddister Trading Company

Limited, including an option to renew for up to two additional, one-year periods

under the same terms and conditions.
