Under the authority of subsections 18(5) and 20(2) of the Royal Newfoundland

Constabulary Act, 1992, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to temporarily

appoint Augustine (Gus) F. Bruce, KC, to:

a) carry out the duties of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Public Complaints

Commissioner, with respect to a conflict complaint, effective immediately, until

such time as the complaint is concluded; and

b) set remuneration at an hourly rate of $225 to a maximum of eight hours per week.
