The Submission of the Minister of Industry, Energy and technology respecting

Reappointment of Temporary Members to the Mineral Rights Adjudication Board was

considered.

Approval was given for the issuance of an Order in Council, under the authority of

subsection 37(4) of the Mineral Act and paragraph 21(2)(a) of the Public Service

Commission Act, for the Minister of Industry, Energy and Technology to reappoint the

following individuals to the Mineral Rights Adjudication Board, for a period not to

exceed six months, effective from a current date:

a) Liam O’Brien, as temporary Chairperson, to continue to chair the grievance filed

related to rights of the mineral barite contained within mineral licences 021890M

and 21891M;and

b) George Jenner, as temporary Member, to continue to hear the grievance filed

related to rights of the mineral barite contained within mineral licences 021890M

and 21891M, and to hear the grievance related to mineral licence 36164M.
