Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the

Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of

Transportation and Infrastructure to pre-commit the follo\ving amounts against its

budgetary appropriations: $18,791,500, excluding HST, in fiscal year 2025-26 and

$8,761,700, excluding HST, in fiscal year 2026-27, to facilitate the award of a contract

to Lindsay Construction Limited for the design and construction of a new high school

in Portugal Cove-St. Philips.
