Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of the Loan Act, 2025 and sections 38 and 43 of the Financial

Administration Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Couneil is pleased to:

a) move that the Lieutenant-Governor in Council raise by way of loan upon the

credit of the Province for those sums of money for the Consolidated Revenue

Fund, not to exceed an aggregate amount of $4,100,000,000 Canadian dollars,

as may be required from time to time by the Minister of Finance or the Deputy

Minister of Finance; and

b) appoint the Minister of Finance and the Deputy Minister of Finance as the agents

of the government for the purpose of negotiating borrowings not to exceed an

aggregate amount of $4,100,000,000 Canadian dollars on such terms and

conditions as to form, rates of interest, and terms to maturity as the Minister of

Finance or the Deputy Minister of Finance may determine.
