Under the authority of section 21 of An Act to Amend the Public Safety Act, Statutes

of Newfoundland and Labrador 2024 Chapter 31, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council

is pleased to proclaim into force section 2 and subsections 16(1), (2) and (4) of the

said Act, on January 5th , 2026.
