Under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act and the

Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to

restructure the Department of Environment and Climate Change, effective July 15,

2025, to consist of all those functions formerly within the Department of

Environment and Climate Change, with the exception of all those functions related

to labour, with two branches as follows:

a) Environment; and

b) Climate Change.
