Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of

the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Justin Caines

as Interim Executive Lead, Governance and Accountability, in the Department of

Health and Community Services, effective July 15, 2025, at his current salary and

Point Scale on the Solicitors Pay Plan, with normal step progressions and general

salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, and with benefits to include

payment of annual practice fees in the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
