Financial Administration Act
Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the
Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of
Transportation and Infrastructure to pre-commit the following amounts against its
budgetary appropriations: $7,199,950, excluding HST, in fiscal years 2026-27
through 2029-30, and the amount of $2,169,255, excluding HST, in 2030-31, adjusted
annually in accordance with the Consumer Price Index for All-Items for
Newfoundland and Labrador, to facilitate the award of a five-year contract to JCL
Investments Inc. for road maintenance on the Trans Labrador Highway.
