Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of section 7 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of

the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to establish a Committee

of Cabinet to lead the response and recovery of Conception Bay North as a result of

the 2025 wildfires, effective August 18, 2025, with membership as follows:

a) Minister Responsible for the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation,

as Chair;

b) Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development;

c) Minister of Health and Community Services;

d) Minister of Industry, Energy and Technology;

e) Minister of Justice and Public Safety;

f) Minister of Municipal Affairs and Community Engagement; and

g) Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure.
