Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of

the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Clifford Smith

as Assistant Deputy Minister, Corporate Services and Policy, in the Department of

Jobs, Immigration and Growth, in an acting capacity, effective immediately, with

salary at Step 19 of the 1450 Point Scale on the Executive Compensation Plan, with

normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply.
