Under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act and the

Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to

restructure the Department of Health and Community Services, effective September

4, 2025, to include all those functions formerly within the Department of Health and

Community Services with the exception of those functions related to seniors’ health

care, with six branches as follows:

a) Corporate Services,

b) Health Transformation,

c) Population Health and Well-Being,

d) Regional Services,

e) Professional Services and Workforce Planning, and

f) Office of Health Professional Recruitment and Retention.
