Under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act and the

Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to

restructure the Office of the Executive Council, effective October 29, 2025, to consist

of all those functions formerly within the Office of the Executive Council and to

include all those functions related to the facilitation of interdepartmental activities

supporting rural economic and social development formerly within the Department of

Rural Economic Development as follows:

a) Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Office,

b) Cabinet Secretariat,

c) Communications Branch,

d) Intergovernmental Affairs Secretariat,

e) Office of the Chief Information Officer,

f) Office of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation,

g) Office of the Premier,

h) Office of Women and Gender Equality,

i) Rural Secretariat, and

j) Treasury Board Secretariat, with five branches as follows:

   i)   Collective Bargaining,

   ii)  Human Resources,

   iii)  Evaluation and Accountability,

   iv)  Office of the Comptroller General, and

   v)   Treasury Board Support.
