Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act and the

Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to create the

Department of Government Services, effective October 29, 2025, to consist of all

those functions formerly within the Department of Government Modernization and

Service Delivery and to include all of those functions related to labour formerly within

the Department of Rural Economic Development, with three branches as follows:

a) Government Services,

b) Regulatory Affairs, and

c) Labour.
