Under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act and the

Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to create the

Department of Forestry, Agriculture and Lands, effective October 29, 2025, to consist

of all those functions related to agriculture, lands, forestry and wildlife formerly

within the Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture, with four branches as

follows:

a) Forestry, Wildlife and Resource Enforcement,

b) Agriculture and Food Security,

c) Crown Lands, and

d) Dairy Industry.
